all i want for Christmas is a 4th leg!
We finally had to have Barkley's back right leg removed yesterday. A tumor had been growing for quite some time and there was nothing more that could be done to treat it. Hopefully the cancer had not spread elsewhere, time and a few x-rays down the road will tell. In the mean time, the girls are being overly nice to Barkey with hugs and kisses and he is fighting to walk and resume daily life without an extra leg. Barkley will be six in January 2005. Keep fighting Barkley!!

Poor Barkley! He looks pretty miserable. But, I'm sure he loves the extra attention. Hang in there!!
