Max's First Lost Tooth

 

Our little Max finally lost his first tooth at the age of 6 years, 5 months old!  A record for our kiddos.  Thing is...he really did lose it while brushing his teeth before school this morning.  Guess it fell down the drain. He'll have to leave a little note for the tooth fairy.  Love this kid.

Narrator Lost her First Tooth!

Julia had a big day today! Max and I attended her 1st grade reading group's "reader's theater" in her class today. She was the narrator and did such a great job! We weren't on the ball though like the other parents with our digital video recorder. Then...Julia finally lost her first tooth tonight. We've been waiting on her two front teeth to fall out for nearly TWO and a half years ever since she fell down the stairs and pushed them back in an accident. She was giddy with excitement tonight and can hardly wait to see what the tooth fairy brings (does the tooth fairy really always have CASH on hand???) and to tell her teacher on Monday (they have a tooth chart for all the students in class). Our big girl is growing up!

Ellie's Pre-K Grad/Scott's B-Day

Ellie's pre-school graduation was last night. The memories of preschool brought tears to Julia's eyes. While the children sang and performed (YMCA, Best of Both Worlds, You Are My Sunshine, etc.), Max enjoyed putting on his own song and dance. Scott's 34th Birthday was the same day so graduation was followed by presents and a yummy homemade (thanks to Beesie) Birthday/Graduation cookie. Next year we'll have two girls at Stephens Elementary (and for the first time in years nobody in preschool)!!
