Julia handed out a few of these Mad Lib Valentine's to her friends.  We rolled up mad libs we had around the house with a newspaper comic strip, tied it up with yarn from the craft room and attached these cute little sayings we found online already done.

 

Great grandma, "G.G." gave out goodies but the notes were the best part!

Some friends of ours invited us to Wilmington for a 4th of July celebration featuring the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.  Our friend plays percussion for the symphony so it was especially fun to see him participate.  Also good for Julia to see other violinists!  The concert was followed by fireworks, of course.  Fun night!

Thanksgiving 2009

We enjoyed a great week of Thanksgiving fun with family and friends again this year. Sarah's sister Ann and her family visited from So-Cal and Sarah's college friend, Jennifer, made her annual visit with us. LOTS of shopping, eating, sight-seeing, etc. made for a fun week!

Easter Day 2009

This morning it was impossible to get a picture of all three kids looking and smiling so this is the best of the bunch! We enjoyed a yummy lunch at Beesie and Charlie's house today. Although we didn't have time to prepare our eggs for a hunt today (due to just returning home last night) our friends Emma and Will prepared one for us in Atlanta during our overnight there!
