poor Miss Ellie
Krankenhaus is German for hospital. We were all quite sick starting with Julia the Tuesday before Christmas. The virus spread and hit Ellie the hardest requiring a three-day hospital stay at the Bonn University Pediatric Wing where she was on IV fluids and meds. Ellie is now nearly fully recovered and for that we are very thankful. Since we had such a bummer of a holiday here alone and sick, we're planning a "pick-me-up" visit to the States within the next month or so where we'll visit with family and with friends!

Ahh, memories of illness when we lived in California during most Christmases. Glad Ellie has recovered :)along with the rest of the family. Hope your trip to the States is wonderful and relaxing. Donna
