Most cameras use a standard USB cable. Usually a mini-usb, sometimes a bigger one. You can buy cables from Amazon if you know what type (usually either a mini-usb or a micro-usb.)
If it's a mini, I have 2 or 3 extras laying around, I can send you one. :)
LOL elaine i did the exact same thing this week. bought a card reader from walmart then came home and realized i could just pop the card in. hilarious. watch out for updates now! :)

Buy a card reader. Much easier to use. I bought one and then realized my laptop had a card reader built in. Not my smartest moment.
