Ellie turned five this past weekend (13th)! Our family got together on Sunday night for a little celebration which will be followed by a home party with friends next Saturday. We gave Ellie her own Nintendo DS (after playing Julia's all year) and she had it for about 24 hours before losing it. Hopefully it will turn up at some point but we're doubtful as it was outside a good portion of the day from what we can gather! While off school today (thanks to Ike), we encouraged her to search for it high and low. She got frustrated with the search and taped a hastily written sign on our bedroom door using her phonetic spelling. Thought it was so cute so posted it here (probably too light to make out). It says, "Someone help me find my DS. From Ellie" Also posted is Ellie's friend party invitation designed by Mandi...isn't she good??!
