Yes, today (as every year on this date) we celebrated our Independence from good ole Great Britain (that was for you, Scott). As you can see, there is no cute picture of the kids with fireworks in the background. This is because Julia was TERRIFIED of fireworks this year and we were dealing with her. Odd how one year a child can love something and the next year be so scared. Maybe it's because she can actually hear them this year? Max was early to bed and missed all the excitement while Sarah and Ellie enjoyed watching them outside with neighbors until quite late.

Ryan and Matthew were also terrified of the fire works. The ones that were close anyway. Matthew was actually shaking!
This is the first year that Abby actually liked the fireworks. Finally!
