We returned this week from a week-long stay at the Sant' Antonio Country Resort in Montepulciano, Italy in the Siena region of Tuscany. Absolutely beautiful country. Wow. Sarah's sister Ann and her new husband Rick met us there for four nights as well. We visited Siena, Pienza (our favorite village), San Gimignano, Pisa, Montichiello, and Orvieto in Umbria. Gorgeous countryside, good food (although we cooked a lot at the villa), and friendly people. Julia and Ellie had a good time at several parks and enjoyed the Italian gelato. Came home with some area pottery and a new fondness for Pecorino cheese. Squisito!
